What is Project REACH?

What is Project REACH?

Project REACH is one of 37 Mental Health Capacity Building in Schools initiative(MHCB).  The MHCB initiative is aligned with Alberta Health and Alberta Health Services provincial strategies which emphasize promotion and prevention along with early identification and intervention. The diversity of approaches used by MHCB is based on research and best practice literature, and is reflective of the needs and resources of individual communities. This includes the engagement of traditionally under-served populations.

In 2014, Prairie Land Regional Division #25 saw a need to expand Project REACH to all public schools and communities within the division.

Currently we have Project REACH Wellness Worker key contacts for all public schools within the Prairie Land Regional Division #25.
